On behalf of the six Saratoga Springs firefighters who were recently laid off, we would like to personally thank you for your generosity. As many of us are currently unemployed, your donations and support are greatly appreciated. It is encouraging to know that our citizens and businesses are willing to give back in our time of need. Words cannot begin to express our appreciation.  Serving the great people that live and work in our city is what makes our job so rewarding, and it is extremely comforting to know our citizens are willing to come to our aid when we need it.  In closing, please remember that the Saratoga Springs firefighters will continue to strive to provide outstanding fire protection and emergency services to our entire city.  Once again, thank you for your support.
